The incredible true story of Juan Salgado, a MacArthur “Genius” who launched two charter schools in Chicago through the organization Instituto Del Progresso Latino. Both schools are housed in the same building, but have unique offerings for the predominantly Latino communities they serve. The 74 visited Chicago in October to learn more about his work.
